About Me

Growing up in San Jose, I’m a Bay Area native so it naturally followed that I’d attend San Jose State University when I heard about their reputable public relations major program. In addition, I’m minoring in Radio, TV and Film.

My dream is to become a documentary filmmaker, converging my love of visual art, writing, storytelling, and justice. Public relations will teach me how to be a persuasive communicator, how to build and maintain professional relationships, and countless other useful communication skills. Additionally, public relations would give me a means to provide for myself while simultaneously pursuing my passion until it takes off.

Pursuing this passion of filmmaking by working with local filmmakers while continuing my education is giving me a well-rounded experience and useful connections.
